Standard book sizes, dimension, and specifications blurb. Pages are counted just like any other book, with a single sheet of paper being two pages two sides. Blurb just in the past couple months changed its pricing structure. The book sizes and dimensions listed on this page and throughout most of our site are rounded measurements. Blurb books can have up to 440 pages with standard paper and up to 240 pages with our heavier papers. These sizes are only guidelines to approximate sizing, and should not be used in order to design an actual book or magazine. The spine of a 240page book with the thickest paper proline pearl is over 3 cm wide. My understanding is that 240 pages is the limit for the thicker papers because that is the maximum that the spine will support.
